I am so happy you want to learn to play the piano!

Melodia4Kids offers one-on-one music lessons in my home. Having lessons outside your home allows your child the opportunity to have uninterrupted lessons and to play the piano without reservation. Children learn when they feel safe in a warm environment.

Playing the piano should be fun; an adventure of imagination and expression! Music develops self-confidence, and fosters analytical and creative thinking.

Beginners ages 5 to 12 - There is no right age to begin studying piano. Your child’s ability to focus and emotional maturity are good indicators of their readiness.

Introductory Lesson – 1st lesson is complimentary. No registration fee. An assessment will be made and music materials will be assigned.

Piano Lessons will blend structure and creativity. A student’s learning style is individual, and thus, each lesson is customized to the student’s need, learning style and interest. Instruction features note reading, rhythm, sight-reading and technique. These, coupled with the student’s natural musical abilities and love of music will engage their interest and desire to learn. Each student will compose a piece of music. Once they have mastered their piece, the student will have the opportunity to perform numerous times throughout the year. The key to success is in learning how to read music from the beginning. Composition will encourage students to practice and share what they learned, and allow parents to enjoy their child’s progress.
