About me…
I began playing the piano at the early age of three. As a toddler, I sat
next to my mother during church service mesmerized by the contrast of
the piano and the voices singing. The warmth of the music instilled confidence
and curiosity. Soon I found myself humming every chord, and harmony began
to spread through my imagination.
Throughout my early childhood, my parents encouraged my love of music
and the piano. Given my ability to play by ear, I was given the opportunity
to be church pianist and accompany singers and choirs.
Rachmaninoff’s Concerto No. 2 inspired my love of classical music. It
motivated me to pursue music as a career. I strive each day to further
my own knowledge of music and piano so that I can pass that on to my students.
It is my greatest desire to share this gift with children, so they may
express themselves with music and inspire the melody in their hearts.
